1. Acceptance
By registering on TruJodi, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms are governed by Indian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must be legally eligible to marry under Indian law.
- You must not be currently married (unless separated/divorced/widowed and your marital status accurately reflects this).
- You must be using TruJodi for matrimonial purposes only.
3. Account responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- All information you provide must be accurate and truthful.
- You must not create profiles on behalf of others without their consent.
- You must not create multiple accounts.
4. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Upload false, misleading, or doctored photographs.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or defame other users.
- Solicit money or financial information from other users.
- Use the platform for commercial solicitation, advertising, or scams.
- Attempt to extract other users' personal contact information without consent.
- Use automated tools to scrape or access the platform.
- Misrepresent your marital status, religion, caste, or any other profile information.
5. Content
You retain ownership of the photos and information you upload. By uploading content, you grant TruJodi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your content to other users for the purpose of matrimonial matchmaking.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our community guidelines without notice.
6. Subscriptions and payments
- Basic browsing is free. Certain features require a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions are billed through Razorpay and are subject to our Refund Policy.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable except as stated in the Refund Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
TruJodi is an introduction platform only. We do not conduct background checks beyond email/phone verification, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of any user-provided information, the outcome of introductions, or any harm arising from meetings with other users. Exercise your own judgement and caution.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
9. Dispute resolution
Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through our Grievance Officer. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in India.
