1. Free tier
TruJodi is free to join and browse. No payment is required for basic access. There is nothing to refund for free-tier usage.
2. Paid subscriptions
TruJodi offers monthly and annual paid subscription plans (Silver, Gold, Platinum). Subscriptions are processed via Razorpay.
3. Refund eligibility
We offer a refund in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate charge: You were charged twice for the same subscription period. We will refund the duplicate charge within 7 business days.
- Technical failure: You were charged but did not receive access to paid features due to a platform error on our end. We will either restore access or issue a prorated refund.
- Account suspended incorrectly: Your account was suspended in error. We will restore your account and extend your subscription by the number of days affected.
4. Non-refundable circumstances
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Subscription not fully used.
- Account suspended for violating our Terms of Service.
- Failure to find a match (TruJodi is an introduction platform, not a matchmaking guarantee).
5. How to request a refund
Email billing@trujodi.com within 7 days of the charge with:
- Your registered email address
- The Razorpay payment ID (found in your email receipt)
- Reason for the refund request
We will review and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days and credited to the original payment method.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → My Plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the period ends.
